About Boonville Oneida County Fair
Every July, the Boonville-Oneida County Fair brings excitement and community spirit to the fairgrounds along Schuyler Street in Boonville, New York.
The very first fair was held back in September 1888 on the same grounds—then leased by the Driving Park Association. Since those early days, the fairgrounds have expanded significantly. In 1905, the Boonville Fair Association officially purchased the land, paving the way for what would become a cherished local tradition. Over the decades, the fair has grown into a beloved summer event that draws families, friends, and visitors from all over.
Today, the Boonville-Oneida County Fair is a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration featuring something for everyone: livestock shows with cattle and horses, exciting 4-H exhibits, friendly contests, truck and tractor pulls, a thrilling demolition derby, live music, mouthwatering food, classic amusement rides, a spectacular fair parade, dazzling fireworks, and so much more.
In 2025, the six-day fair will run from Tuesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 27—promising another unforgettable week of summer magic.
