About the Kite Festival
The Washington State International Kite Festival is a weeklong celebration and competition of kites, organized annually during the third full week of August in Long Beach, WA. It is one of the largest and longest-running kite festivals in North America.
Watch skies ablaze with colors, get involved in high-flying action, and experience the magic as lighted kites illuminate the sky after dusk at the Long Beach Kite Festival. In 2024, the seven-day Washington State International Kite Festival will begin on Monday, August 19 and conclude on Sunday, August 25.
