The 40th Annual Abbeville Giant Omelette Celebration
The Giant Omelette Celebration takes place over the first full weekend of November in Downtown Abbeville, Louisiana. As the name suggests, the main highlight of the event is the cooking of a giant omelette made with 5000 eggs. The festival also features live music, food, arts & crafts, a 2-mile fun walk/run, an egg cracking contest, and more. In 2024, the two-day Abbeville Giant Omelette Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3.
