Riceboro Rice Festival
The Riceboro Rice Festival is traditionally held over the second weekend of November in Riceboro, Georgia. First held in 2007, the festival honors the heritage of rice farming and the Gullah/Geechee people whose ancestors once worked on rice plantations in Liberty County. The Rice Festival features many attractions including a parade, commercial vendors, food booths, contests, rice cook-offs, Riceboro GospelFest, and more. In 2024, the three-day Riceboro Rice Festival will begin on Friday, November 8 and conclude on Sunday, November 10.
